Questions
What is amigurumi?
Amigurumi is the Japanese art of crocheting small stuffed figures. They are worked in continuous rounds of single crochet with a small hook so the stuffing doesn't show.
What hook size is used for amigurumi?
Usually a hook one or two sizes smaller than the yarn label suggests, often 2.5 to 3.5 mm, so the fabric is tight. Each pattern names the hook it was tested with.
Are amigurumi patterns good for beginners?
Yes, if you know the magic ring, single crochet, increases and decreases. Our amigurumi patterns are marked Easy.
